Welcome to Argyll and Bute Council's Budget Simulator.
The simulator allows you to find out about different areas of the council's work and its current budget. It gives you the chance to decide how you would share the council's money across departments, based on last year's budget. If you decide to increase spending in one area you'll have to make savings elsewhere to balance the budget.
It’s a way of seeing how the choices made impact on other areas of council services.
The simulator is based around two stages, and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete. Once you’re done, your results will be submitted to Argyll and Bute Council. We will collect everyone's opinions together and use them to inform our budget and spending priorities for the year.
The simulator gives you a broad idea of how the council’s budget is shared across services. You can also let us know what you think about specific proposals for individual services by visiting our web site www.argyll-bute.gov.uk
