Welcome to the Metropolitan Borough of Bury Budget Simulator

Welcome to the Metropolitan Borough of Bury's Budget Simulator. This simulator will allow you to find out about each different area of the councils work and how much it costs each year. You can then decide how you would allocate the money across the departments based on last year's budget. If you decide to raise spending in too many areas, you will be warned that you will have to put council tax up to do it!

The simulator is based around two core stages, and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete. Once you've completed it, your results will be submitted to Metropolitan Borough of Bury who will then put everyone's opinions together and use them to inform their budget and spending priorities for the year.
